Vulnerability hotspots: linking food security and climate change

Project 3a

Project staff: Evan Fraser| and Andy Challinor|

This project employs statistical and participatory methods to 'close the loop' between top-down models simulating climate change impacts on agricultural productivity, and bottom-up qualitative assessments of household food security.

Local scale field work, conducted in Malawi, is being used to develop country scale vulnerability assessments that incorporate both environmental and socio-economic data.
