CCCEP’s Prof Lindsay Stringer has been sharing her experience as part of the first Homeward Bound expedition – the world’s largest all-female multidisciplinary expedition to Antarctica.

She joined 75 other women from all over the globe for the  ground-breaking trip in December 2016.

Prof Stringer, based in the School of Earth and Environment at the University of Leeds, said: “The Homeward Bound vision over the next 10 years is to equip a 1,000-strong global collaboration of women with a science background to lead, influence and contribute to policy and decision-making as it informs the future of our planet.”
