Baran Doda

Research Officer

Baran works for the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment| and the Centre for Climate Change Economics and Policy (CCCEP) on climate change mitigation policies, including their macroeconomic aspects, impact on the business sector and implications for green growth.

Background

Baran completed his undergraduate and graduate training in Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University, and a Masters and PhD in economics from the University of Toronto. He is also an alumnus of the United World College of the Adriatic, Italy.

He has worked as an Economist at the Bank of Canada and as a consultant for Environment Canada.

  • Macroeconomics of climate change;
  • Green growth.
