Charlene's PhD research topic is on 'Forest Conservation for Carbon and Communities'. Can forest conservation lead to both carbon and community benefits in the Bale Mountains Eco-Region in southeast Ethiopia?
She studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Background
Charlene has an MSc in Environmental Technology (Environmental Economics and Policy) from Imperial College London, and a BA in Natural Sciences (Zoology) from Cambridge University.
In 2005, She was Assistant Research Co-ordinator with a conservation, research and development NGO, organising biodiversity surveys, logistics, and training research assistants in northwest Nicaragua.
