Research student

Raphael's PhD research topic is on the evaluation and design of carbon markets, especially the effect of cap and trade on low-carbon innovation.

He is based at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Raphael previously studied economics at the University of Cambridge and UCL.

  • Impacts of the EU Emissions Trading Scheme;
  • The history of emissions trading;
  • Uncertainty in climate forecasts.
