Tim Laing

Research student

Tim's research title is 'Assessing the impact of institutional conditions upon programme design for reducing emissions from deforestation and degradation'.

He is based at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Tim's research interests are in the structure of programme design for reducing emissions from deforestation and degradation and how institutional conditions, such as property rights, affect the choice of policy.

Background

Tim has a BA in Economics from the University of Nottingham and an MA in Development Economics from the University of Sussex. 

He has worked at the Environmental Protection Agency of Guyana |as an ODI fellow and as a Research Assistant in the Electricity Policy Research Group| in Cambridge.
