Adrian Fenton

Adrian's project title is 'Climate change adaptation and microfinance: a potential win-win scenario?'.

He has been based at the University of Leeds since October 2011.

Background

Adrian was previously a Consultant for IIED on two projects, ultimately for the UK-EAC and UN-CFS.

He has a BA Business Economics from the University of Leicester, and an MSc Development Planning (Environment and Sustainable Development) from University College London and also in International Development (Research Training) from the University of Manchester.

Research interests

  • Climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction;
  • Microfinance - social performance management;
  • International development and poverty alleviation.
