Uzma's project title is 'Assessing the scope of PES in relation to GHG emissions in agri-ecosystems'.
This research project proposes to investigate the scope for designing a Payment for Ecosystem Services scheme to meet climate change mitigation targets in the agricultural sector, as emissions from this sector is not regulated through the EU tradable quota agreements.
Background
Uzma has an MSc Environmental Sciences from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan.
