Faye is Research and Innovation Development Manager for the Cities theme at the University of Leeds. The CITIES theme is a cross-university initiative which brings together nearly 150 academics who are working in or have an interest in urban focused research. This research spans many disciplines including engineering, environment, economics, law, health, geography, social sciences and business.
Faye has previously undertaken a number of roles, including Research and Development Manager for the Faculty of Environment’s Sustainable Cities Initiative. Before this she worked on the Climate Smart Cities programme, working particularly in Lima (Peru) and Kolkata (India) on projects funded by the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office and the Inter-American Development Bank.
Prior to joining the School of Earth & Environmen,t Faye worked as an Associate Consultant at Atkins focussing on climate change issues, both within the UK and internationally. From 2001 to 2008 I worked for E.ON in a number of environmental and corporate responsibility-related roles, culminating in the role of UK Environment Manager.
