In his PhD, Mike is exploring how institutional investors influence what companies do about the risks and opportunities arising from the transition to a low carbon economy and the relationship between companies’ climate change disclosures and their share price performance.

Background

Mike previously worked as a consultant advising companies on employee share ownership, executive incentives and related corporate governance compliance.

He has a BA in Economics and Politics from Exeter University and an MSc in Business Studies from the London Business School.  More recently, Mike completed an MSc in the Economics of Climate Change at Reading University, achieving a distinction.
