Project staff: Andy Gouldson

Work on this project focused on financing arrangements for low carbon investments with a particular focus on the city scale. A paper on innovative financing models for low carbon development has been published in Energy Policy and another on bottom-up assessments of the scope for low carbon investment has been published in Climate Policy. A further paper evaluating the potential for private, public and civic approaches to low carbon investment has been drafted and is close to submission. The project work also fed directly into our contribution as lead authors of the cities chapter of the NCE 2 report – a paper based on this is under review in Climate Change Letters.
