Next Friday, 28th February 2014, the Grantham Research Institute and Department of Law will be staging a live mock trial, with support from legal experts at Matrix Chambers.

Hosted by the Department of Law as part of the LSE Literary Festival and forming part of the Institute’s public events programme, the event takes the form of a live trial, with prosecution and defence teams setting out the case for and against the baby boomer generation in respect to their contribution towards global climate change.

The trial will be overseen by Grantham Co-Director, Professor Judith Rees, with the audience given the opportunity to vote and deliver a verdict, alongside a mixed jury, convened especially to hear the case.
