How we talk about climate change reflects how we think about it, which in turn affects how we act – or don’t. Katharine Hayhoe @KHayhoe is a climate scientist who’s served as a lead author for National Climate Assessments under the Bush, Obama, and Trump administrations. Join her as she shares a few of the challenges of her work, as well as some surprising and encouraging shifts in how people are thinking, talking, and even acting on climate across the U.S. and beyond.

The lecture will be chaired by Bob Ward,Policy and Communications Director at the Grantham Research Institute.

Katharine is an atmospheric scientist and professor of political science at Texas Tech University, where she is director of the Climate Science Center. She is also the CEO of the consulting firm ATMOS Research and Consulting.
