What scale for water governance?

Declan Conway, Professorial Research Fellow at the Grantham Research Institute, is among a number of leading experts in the field to contribute to a series of essays debating key issues in freshwater research and management. The essays are being published over the course of 3 weeks in the leading journal Science magazine. The initial focus will be on when, and to what extent, should a global viewpoint replace, or work in tandem with, enduring localized perspectives.
