Gregor Singer

Gregor’s PhD research focuses on the economics of material efficiency in manufacturing sectors. He also works on projects in agricultural economics and insurance, energy prices, trade, and institutional change and deforestation.


Gregor holds a MSc in Environmental Economics and Climate Change (Distinction) from LSE and a BSc in Economics from Maastricht University. Before starting his PhD, he worked as a consultant at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Global Green Growth Institute. He has also been a Research Assistant at the Grantham Research Institute.
