Rachel Harcourt

Rachel Harcourt is a Research Fellow in climate change adaptation. She is a member of the Champion team for the SPF-funded UK Climate Resilience Programme leading on research synthesis and promoting knowledge exchange. She is also working with Defra, Sciencewise and Ipsos on the UK’s first public dialogues about adaptation. She has previously worked on the launch of the Yorkshire and Humber Climate Commission, leading on the adaptation and resilience section of the Action Plan.

Human dimensions of climate change impacts and adaptation; communications, media and the public discourse; social decision making and public engagement; behaviour change; applied use of narratives in analysis and communications; futures work; governance and policy; climate change in the arts and humanities
