Torsten’s work focuses on ocean ecosystems governance and blue finance. This includes developing linkages between climate adaptation and marine ecosystems governance and finance.

Background

Torsten Thiele spent over 20 years in finance, structuring infrastructure debt facilities and technology equity investments and now focusses on ocean issues. He holds degrees in law and economics and in conservation, as well asa MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School.
