Jody Harris

Jody’s current role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant involves supporting the MSc Sustainability (Environmental Consultancy and Project Management) and (Business, Environment and Corporate Responsibility) programmes.

She is also undertaking doctoral research on urban food security with a particular focus on food system resilience and governance at the city scale.

Prior to joining the School of Earth and Environment Jody spent 10 years working in the field of sustainability and environmental management in the public and private sectors. As a Sustainability Consultant at the firm Arup, she provided technical advice in the areas of sustainability strategy development, sustainability appraisal, environmental assessment, and carbon footprinting to UK and international clients. Her project work spanned the public and private sectors and included a number of commissions in the utilities, manufacturing, transport, housing, and construction sectors. Jody has also worked at the UK Environment Agency managing Environmental Impact Assessments for major flood risk management projects.
