The British Academy has announced that Professor Lord Stern of Brentford, chair of the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, has been elected as its next President from July 2013. read more »

Lord Stern was awarded the Order by President Calderon at a ceremony on 16 June, ahead of the start of the G20 summit. It is the highest decoration that is awarded by Mexico to foreigners. read more »
