Ivan is a PhD candidate at the University of Leeds since December 2020. His research focuses on understanding how policymakers and communities in Arctic Russia experience, manage, and adapt to increasing wildfire activity. He is particularly interested in examining the factors that determine (or constrain) adaptation, vulnerability, and resilience to wildfires in a northern context.
