Yang Zheng

Yang’s research is mainly focused on understanding how environmental policy influences green innovation and firm competitiveness. He is particularly interested in the design and evaluation of China’s Carbon Emission Trading Scheme (ETS). He began his PhD in 2018.

Background

Yang holds an MSc in Economics from Wuhan University, China. Prior to joining LSE, he worked at Wuhan University as a research assistant conducting research on the relationship between firms’ ownership structure and technology spillover, and the induced innovation effects of China’s Carbon ETS.
