Ben Wood
Ben is an analyst for London-based Xynteo.
He completed his PhD on climate-compatible development and social justice in Malawi in 2016.
Ben’s thesis explored the social justice implications of the UK Aid-funded Enhancing Community Resilience Programme (ECRP), which aims to encourage pro-poor, climate resilient development in rural Malawi.
It involved extensive collaborative working with DfID Malawi and NGOs involved in implementing the ECRP (including Christian Aid, Concern Universal, GOAL Malawi, CARE Malawi), during one year spent living in Malawi.
